This policy explains how Bernessi General Trading Co. LLC handles personal information in connection with this BERNESSI product showcase and enquiries made through the contact channels listed here.

This website presents products and links to external marketplaces. It does not provide customer accounts, take orders or accept payments. Information you provide on a marketplace is subject to that marketplace’s privacy policy.

You can browse the catalogue without registering. When you contact us by email, telephone, a linked messaging service or the website contact form, we receive the name, email address and content of the enquiry you choose to submit so that we can respond.

Our hosting and technical service providers may process connection information, such as your IP address, requested pages, browser type and request times, to deliver the website, diagnose faults and protect it from misuse. We do not describe this technical information as anonymous.

Information you publish on an external service, such as a review or social media comment, may be visible to other people. This showcase does not provide a public review or comment submission feature.

We use our self-hosted Umami analytics service without cookies. It records pages visited, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and de-identified geographic information to help us understand how this product showcase is used.

Umami may use an IP address to determine a session and approximate geography, but does not store the IP address. We do not send contact form values or other personal data to analytics.

We also record de-identified interaction events when you select Amazon or Noon, open Contacts, use WhatsApp, email or telephone, open social networks, or attempt or successfully send the contact form. These events contain only the action, placement and, where applicable, stable product, category or variant identifiers; they never include names, email addresses, messages or any other form field values.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information to us.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected it without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete it. Contact info@bernessi.ae if you believe this has happened.

We will publish changes to this policy on this page. If a new use of your information requires consent, we will request it rather than treating continued browsing as consent.

The website can set a first-party cookie called NEXT_LOCALE to remember your selected language when it differs from your browser preference. It contains a locale value such as en or ar, not payment or customer account information.

It is configured as a session cookie without a fixed expiry date. Browsers normally remove session cookies when a session ends, although session-restore settings can retain them. You can also remove it in your browser settings.

The public showcase currently has no integrated advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. If we introduce such tools, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required before activating them.

External marketplaces and messaging services may set their own cookies when you visit them. Those cookies are governed by the relevant service’s policy, not by this website’s language setting.
